Thibs has been a godsend. His haters are deranged. I have yet to encounter one anti-Thibs person who can back up their opinion with facts. It’s always “Derrick Rose, minutes and injuries” with them.
But in all this time that the anti-Thibs narrative has existed, I have yet to see the arguments laid out persuasively. Surely, if his teams were more prone to injuries then there would be data to back it up. I have yet to see it.

Yup. And the ‘doesn’t play the kids’ narrative… I don’t know if it was true in his other stops in his career, but since he’s been with the Knicks he’s done a great job developing young players and maximizing other players. Quickley, Mitch, grimes, Deuce, RJ… then really making iHart and Precious sing. He’s great at getting the most from his players… but I think they have to be his type of players. I don’t have any problem with that.
