When we drafted Pritchard, I said he had the potential to be a Fred VanVleet type of player. Glad to see him start to trend in that direction. Small scoring guard that has above average court vision. Not a natural defender, but a scrappy defender that will surprise people with effort plays and IQ plays.

Payton Pritchard’s torso is as wide as these guys 6” taller than him, The dude is strong.
The scouting is out, and defenses know that Pritchard's a wrecking ball, so when he stutter-steps into the paint it causes total chaos. I love watching defenders lose their minds as everyone's pulled out of position too fast for them to figure out who should be switching where. Pritchard's able to keep track of where his own guys are, so when the defense collapses and gets confused, he's able to make that great pass.
Was watching the Detroit feed when he was pressuring full court at the end of the 2nd – that was awesome. No idea why this feed shows a crying kid instead 🫠

Payton could replace D White imo. We have the potential to win for a while. Walsh is amazing. Boston is a great team and Brad Steven’s should be proud.

hes balling rn ans he deserves credit. dudes a talented ball player. however my issue is am i gonna get this in the playoffs. he balls out against weak teams but disappears against elite ones. i love what hes doing but its really hard for me to completely be sold on the bench if they cant do this on the biggest stage
