Who cares what Josh Hart has to say? His ass can get traded at any deadline. There’s a reason why RJ was the first pick they extended since 1999. No one sticks around there. Even then, they still traded him a year later.

I mean I can see how everyone is looking at it in a way that Mikal is thinking he would like to play with friends and win with them, but also from a competitive standpoint there’s guys out there who would rather be that terrible team and turn them around to all of a sudden become a good team and now he’s beating his friends team and a top contender. In some ways it’s more special, especially knowing he’s a main part of that transition to becoming a good team.
For all we know Mikal knows from the FO telling him that they’ll be highly aggressive in there pursuit to getting stars to become a possible contender next year. He may even know exactly who those players will be, maybe even spoke with them about it personally.
Let’s NOT forget about Mikals “TWIN” Cam Johnson who is also another one of his best friends, there’s a chance he wouldn’t wanna leave him in the dust and dip outta there.

Trade them both for picks in the off season, like should have been done before the deadline. Mikal is a third option, Johnson is a fourth. We need to work out our option one and two before we need guys like these.
