Atlanta Hawks defeats Charlotte Hornets, 132-91. For Atlanta, Dejounte Murray led the way with 28 points, 7 rebounds, 12 assists, and 5 steals while Bruno Fernando finished with a career-high 25 points and 6 rebounds in the victory. Miles Bridges recorded 27 points and 5 rebounds while aided by Nick Richards (12 points, 16 rebounds) for Charlotte in the losing effort. Atlanta improves to 31-39, while Charlotte moves to 17-53 in the loss.
Charlotte is now eliminated from the postseason with this loss.

This might be the best possible basketball we could’ve played tonight, and the score for sure reflected it. A 41 point win, gotta be one of the biggest margin wins we have had in a while. Really everything went great tonight, and it was really nice to see. Overall excellent team defense holding charlotte to just 91 points, the 6th time the hawks have held their opponent to under 100 points, and finally beat the charlotte hornets. Dejounte was outstanding, was on fire from behind the arc and was an excellent facilitator, also great defense from him. Bogi as well was a sniper from behind the arc, vit was also really good, finding a good groove here stepping up into the starting lineup. Dre with his attack has been big through this injury stretch, capela also with his presence on the glass was good. Off the bench bruno had a career night he was just outstanding, his energy and attack, he just played about as perfect as he could. Gary and trent as well were solid, gary knocked down a ton of looks, wesley too with solid minutes. Overall a great win returning from the road trip, still very injury depleted but i guess we will just have to see how the rest of this season plays out. Great win here tonight. Boston is in town next so that should be interesting. Let’s go hawks #TrueToAtlanta

If you don't come prepared to compete against the Hawks offensively, they will blow you out as they proved tonight against the Hornets.
