Hey coach you talk about the just you know obviously a sluggish start but just the way you guys were able to come back uh in that second quarter I think he held the Spurs of 14 I think in the second quarter you talked about just the
Defense and the way they’re able to kind of persevere yeah I mean uh tons of credit to our guys I mean I I wouldn’t say we were sluggish we were just missing wide open shots we were moving the ball we know we had to do that especially you know against the team
That packs of paint with Wana who you know just you know makes it so hard at The Rim you saw that you know for the entire 48 minutes but our ball mve was good you know we were missing bunnies at The Rim even if they were open um but
Luckily we were able to kind of keep within Striking Distance only down 12 at the first and then we just responded in that second quarter I thought our bench uni came in gave us some great life Scotty you know in the first half Jake laravia I thought was great tonight plus
21 um and then anytime you come to San San Antonio you’re going to have a you know heck of a finish it seems like when we battle these guys so overall great response for our guys up and down having a lead obviously got a little crazy
There we got you know uh you know some things we’d love to take back at the end of the fourth quarter but great execution down the stretch you know jiren’s big bucket and then great execution even with 1.2 to try to force him to take a tough contested shot um
And luckily we came away with a victory you talk about the last I’m sure it was designed to go to jiren the whole time just so he’s able to sort of compose himself and you know didn’t hurry just got the the good look and talk about
Sort of his comp composure yeah I mean uh absolute uh composure great Poise from him his teammates as well I thought the spacing was pretty pretty uh good on that possession uh we woned the last shot and we pretty much got it right at
The at the end with 1.2 left um you know give the Spurs a lot of credit they were pressuring a lot especially down at the end and we turned the ball over a little bit um need to have that you know uh corrected for sure you know moving
Forward but soan was pressuring JJ he end up getting to a spot on the floor on that right wing played on balance you know and got his shot you know which we got a ton of trust in um so big time play by him um great spacing by his
Teammates but you know throughout the night they were showing him different looks luckily we got just enough of a window for him to get that shot off without a double team you know everything you gone through this year with all the injuries and such you know
For your team to get a one like this I mean it’s got to make you feel pretty happy and pretty proud of the way these guys have yeah I’m I’m I’m proud of our guys with how they compete every single night obviously the results haven’t gone
Our way you know for the great majority of the season um but that hasn’t deterred these guys from coming in whether it’s at home or on the road but especially on the road you know when it’s stacked against you and you know we start this road trip with a really tough
Overtime one which you know was slipped away from us against the Kings and then you know we get hit pretty good against Golden State and then you travel out here and you know you’re going to be in for a test for 48 minutes on both sides
Of the floor against a scrappy team that plays extremely well together um in the Spurs that is and then our guys just found a way especially after a you know difficult first quarter found a way Come Away with a you know two-point Victory speak volumes about this group great thanks everybody appreciate

It was nice to get a win! Coach, I hope you file an official protest about both the lack of tech calls on Draymond & the one-sidedness of the calls in the GSW game. They let him get away with everything, they are as intimidated by his violent swagger as the rookies on any team the Warriors play.
