The only problem is that Duece’s production hasn’t come in addition to, but rather in place of, the production we’re not getting from Burks and Bogdonovic. Those two players have been bad and it’s forcing Thibs to play other guys a lot of minutes. McBride played all 48 this afternoon. In some ways Hart and McBride have saved this season for us.

He’s an absolute dog on the defensive end and would prob pickup guys full court for 48 mins if thibs told him to. That’s been a staple of his game since his rookie year. But he needed some offensive production to crack the rotation. And this teams glaring weakness was outside shooting so he put in the work and has become a good 3 pt shooter and as his confidence has grown and he’s become a shooting threat he’s sprinkled in more drives and aggression. And as the cherry on top he’s been damn near deadly with that midrange when pulling up 10-15ft out.
He’s become what we all hoped and thought grimes would be for us.
