Update: Kelly Confirmed Received Gift Basket (Story In Comments)

I was at the players tunnel for the Clippers vs Sixers game (see, I am in fact both a clippers and sixers ticket holder) waiting for Kelly’s autograph. When he finished his barrage of corner 3 and midrange jumpers in warm ups he approached me (wearing a Sixers jersey among a sea of clippers jersey wearing fans). I guess the similar color scheme must’ve thrown him off because he walked right past me. That’s when I shouted “did you get the gift basket?” He turned his head and walked towards sme, reaching his hand out for my autograph pen. I instinctively took a quick selfie while giving it to him to sign, and nervously muttered “a bunch of us on reddit got you a gift basket when you got injured, did Tobias dad give it to you?” He finished signing the autograph like a professional, then stared at me with those deep, piercing green eyes and said to me “Yes. Thank you.” (With a pronounced pause to emphasize his gratitude). Mesmerized in his trance, I didn’t get an opportunity to ask him to record that response to everyone before he turned around and left. But with these memories that I (and now all of us) share, we can confidently proclaim “mission accomplished 🫡🏀”
