It’s flawed on so many levels it’s crazy. He should have been playing around 34-36 min. What’s the point of keeping him fresh now, if he has to play 38-40 min the last 10 games of the season to keep being in the play-ins. Also why don’t Kerr play him even less if it doesn’t make a difference

Phrasing it like it’s ridiculous to even propose that Steph should have played a few min more (or at least not sat so many consecutive minutes), when they were -11 when he sat. The warriors winning this game if he played a few more minutes is not only plausible, but it’s likely.
I don’t mind the idea of preserving his longevity by giving him a rest at this point (since we likely won’t make it past the play-in), but there’s no need to act like a couple of extra Curry minutes would definitely not have made a difference in the result in this game.
