[Marcus Thompson II] Those five minutes to start the fourth quarter, -11, was the difference. The non-Steph Curry minutes. I thought it was time to start Curry in 4Q, which he did against Indiana. Sitting him for five minutes straight is too much against the better/hot teams.

Easy mixup for Steve to make, Steph and Podz are hard to differentiate in terms of their impact, after all. Steph should work on getting that +/- of his up, maybe then he’ll get to start 4th quarters against the better/tough teams.

I remember when Steph would play full quarters, rest half of the next, etc. You have to adjust to the situation and the team is doodoo right now. Show some coaching experience goddamit

  2. CoffeeOatMilk

It was 9 mins straight plus the break in between quarters.

Just awful coaching from Kerr, but he’s been awful all year, so it shouldn’t be a shock.

MT has definitely made his opinions known this year

There is no point in saving Steph when we are losing. NONE.

  6. I officially want Lebron to come here so he can get Kerr fired

Kerr has given up. There is no other explanation.

Kerr is throwing this season in the trash.

Anyone with a brain cell knows this.

It’s the same theme over and over.

    wtf is Steve doing.

The main win from today’s game is podz playing only 18 minutes but yeah finally the Bay Area media is asking questions that should’ve been asked 30 games ago.

Steph could play all 48 for the rest of the season, Warriors are still going home early. So what’s the point in getting all worked up?

    They’re a bad team.

Let Steph save some prime mileage for next season.

Aye. Guess everyone is calling it Kerr. Haha.

Never thought I’d see the day

The Dubs used to be so good that they could win by just sheer talent and IQ. At this stage, margins are just way too thin, they literally can not afford less than 32 Steph mins against a good time. They just do not have the talent/lineups that can survive non-Steph time for long stretches most nights.

Can you be the coach, please, Marcus Thompson? Kerr can be an assistant.

  15. I honestly think he’s just tryna save Steph cause he knows the team is trash. But obviously Steph wants to save the season so probably alot of back and forth going on

Why should Kerr ride Steph heavy minutes when the team is a hot pile of mediocre? Warriors should shut him down but he’s too much of a star and the team will get fined, it would cause a huge problem with the league office. Seems like the best option is to frankly play the guy 25 – 30 minutes a game, give everybody else more run to assess what the team has for next season. The key to this strategy is to avoid whining like a bunch of sissy girls every time the team loses a close game.

If you want a mediocre team to go all out just to make the 10 seed, may I introduce you to the Chicago Bulls, one of the saddest franchises in the entire NBA right now.

I’ve thought Kerrs strict Steph rotation has cost us multiple games this season. I’ve seen it happen at least 5 times this season where we have a narrow lead going into the 4th and are failing to not only make stops but generate offense as well. By the time Steph rotates back in at 7:30 it’s too late, and we are often trailing
