Hawks announcer: “Boy, Jayson Tatum does a lot of complaining. Who does he think he is, Caitlin Clark?”

I have absolutely zero input to add to this in order to match the requirement for self posts so I’ll just go on to say that it’s interesting how the Celtics perform when they are cold and also when in the clutch. In the second half they shot 1 – 18 on 3s, and managed to kill their 30 point lead with absolutely zero starters being pulled during the blowout. It never really garnered much consideration before but it seems obvious a team that wins by a lot has very little experience in close games this season. Wonder how that’ll pan out.

Tatum going to church to get Kobeā€™s input on the events that have unfolded.

Love it when a local commentator says something stupid and it turns out to not be the Warriors.

Name a star player that doesnā€™t complain to refs?

  7. CoolGrandpa1932

Was he complaining about a prior play or something? The foul he got right before this was about as obvious a foul as you’ll see in the NBA so I’m not sure why he would argue that one.

Also damn lot of people in here apparently can’t take a joke. Lighten up sheesh

  8. I have absolutely zero input to add to this so I’ll just go on to say fuck the celtics

This feels like true equality. Society now cares enough about women’s basketball to be professional haters about women’s players. you love to see progress

The Caitlin and Luka parallels continue to grow

lol random buck’s fan had to add his own little insert.

  12. Crazy thing is he was sooooooo much worse a couple years ago. He’s mild now compared to before Udoka.

Jordan would routinely get away with admonishing refs after calling an obvious call against him.Ā  He’d get away with routinely carrying, traveling,Ā  fouling people he’s stealing or blocking….

I remember how he actually got into a two way fist fight with Reggie Miller and they only threw out Reggie. They were about to resume play and a whistle start blowing…the refs convene again and realize oh yeah I guess we can’t make it this obvious we’re not calling it fair and square.Ā

So only after that they ejected Jordan.Ā  Ā It’s one of the most ridiculous scenes in nba I’ve ever seen

  14. Experience doesn’t win you close games, good execution does. Also they had a TON of experience with close games in the past.

Did anybody even watch this clip? He’s very clearly joking….

I mean Luka and LeBron are serial whiners to the refs….as was MJ.
In the NFL Mahomes cries a lot to the officials too.

Working the ref is a skill of it’s own.

Very little experience in close games? They are 20-11 in clutch games this year.

It’s around 20th in the league by number of clutch games played. I wouldn’t say that’s very little.

Tatum does complain a lot. So does lebron. Itā€™s annoying

Damn she’s big time. Front page of the NBA sub because an announcer mentioned her.

  20. “zero starters being pulled”. Forgot to mention they were missing two starters and played some end of bench players (svi, springer) for extended minutes.

Look, as a Hawks fan I put up with a lot of shit from
    NBA folx; I get it.

But Iā€™m not about to sit here and let any Bob Rathburn slander slide.

You should HOPE to find someone in your life who loves you as much as Bob loves the hawks.
