Tj Warren signed rest of season
The Timberwolves are signing veteran F TJ Warren for the rest of the season, sources tell @ShamsCharania and me. Warren has impressed during two 10-day contracts and gives the Wolves another scorer off the bench.

Good for him. He showed up ready to play and made the most of it. Great example for others.
I was rough on Warren, but realistically I was expecting too much. Wish he was more solid from 3 but those kinda guys aren’t waiting for 10 days.
Nice! He has had some good games along with us.
I’m into it. He fills in well enough and doesn’t have nearly as many question marks as the Morris twin.
Wish he was a bit more of a shooter, but I like that he can get a bucket in a pinch. Could easily see him getting one 4 minute stretch in the playoffs and putting in one of those floaters while the clock is winding down, which is about all you can ask for for an 11th man.

He hasn’t played since Dnever, and isn’t going to play much more this season or any in the playoffs, but he’s good insurance to have. Hopefully he’s in the gym working on that 3pt shot every single day, in case we need it.
I thought we didn’t have cap space to sign people? Are we going to finish over the salary cap now?

Kind of confused by what TJ gives us opposed to one of the younger cats on the team – can someone TLDR for me? All his advanced stats show a player that isn’t worthy of a roster spot, albeit his 2023-2024 sample sizes are quite small.

Hm. We did need a slightly bigger body to bounce off Zion… but not sure if he’s the guy or not. At least he can drill mid-range as about as well as Terrell Brandon could. So that’s a plus.
Don’t turn your back on the Wolfpack.. you might wind up in a body bag..
