“Lakers better without LeBron” – James Worthy on fire Lakers beat Bucks 128-124 in 2OT; AD: 34 Pts

Hello and welcome to access sportset Lakers driven by your Southern California Honda dealers that up BR nope Come on B I need some help Bo a long time since I’m I’m going put some funk into it some Matrix get in there big game come on down with a get in there big

Game man those cigar Gifts of you are going to be going nuts in Laker Nation tonight send them in I want to see him tonight that performance woo was a performance for the times right there my friend g go ahead take the shot brought to you by our Southern California

Deers access sportset Lakers you know where they all are James that was fantastic right there Lakers was one of the most improbable comebacks uh we have seen in a long time they were down 19 against the Milwaukee Bucks with 8 minutes and 24 seconds left and the

Probability for the Bucs to win at that point was 99.6 but the Lakers went on a 26-7 run to tie it end of the game got crazy with fouls and no calls and reviews and then they go double ot to win it what an incredible effort a valiant comeback so

Many Heroes ad AR DLo everybody 15 for 15 from the free throw line from the fourth quarter on for the Lakers and defish I was wrong at 8 minutes when I said take everyone out we’re going to Memphis I was wrong that’s why I sit here

Um yeah no it was like there were so many times they could have just like this is too hard for tonight you know we don’t have to get a stop this possession you know we don’t have to really dig in and figure out a way to keep this game

Going keep it alive and it just it says a lot about the group uh I think if these guys weren’t as connected as they are with each other if they weren’t uh they look like they’re having fun playing basketball it’s been a really up and down year but we’ve noticed in some

A lot of the wins of course but even in some of the tough nights they’ve hung in there together there have been Smiles on the benches guys still being positive with each other that’s how you still come out on the top side of a win like tonight character yeah you know um you

Can have a lot of Talent on this team and we do LeBron ad Reed DLo We Got Talent but without the character to go along with it and the willingness to be a team all the time and I think this this this squad has learned how to be a

Team regardless of what’s going on through the ups and downs the injuries and all of that is one thing that still remains that keeps them above water is that they they like each other you know they like their team and tonight I’ll let you guys deal with the stats and all

But tonight they performed like a team that that had character and then they weren’t going to you know give up or just lay down uh they know where they are this time of the season I think they know how they have to prepare for what’s what’s coming they know Phoenix’s

Situation and they went out and took care of business tonight collectively um and you know that’s this is a this is a game that I it’s one of the best games I’ve seen uh you know the Lakers play and it was just nice to see them dig and

Not give up just they just kept digging and it was just a great great outcome presz you get the first at bat after this because we’re going back to Milwaukee Austin Reeves is with Mike trell Austin Reeves I almost want to give you a second to get your breath

Down 19 in the fourth quarter all that time on the legs what did it take to get this done yeah I mean there’s two things you can do you can you can fold and go to the next to Memphis tomorrow or you can man up and uh face the challenge

Head on and uh we had a timeout and we was like we just got to play Fast get up a bunch of Threes And and be solid defensively don’t let him get any extra chance uh extra chance points uh limit him to one shot and then on top of that

Just be super aggressive you have your second career triple double first one since that uh Denver game at the end of your rookie season but no bigger shot than that three-pointer can you take me through just what it feels like physically to try and find your legs at

That point when you’ve been doing that much running to focus uh to think is there something you think about with the shot how do you go through that no I mean to be honest with you I feel a lot better at that point in the game than I

Did early in the game legs were heavy early uh we got off to a horrible start we couldn’t find any momentum anywhere in the game uh we just kept plugging and in that moment you know in gine takes over this is an unbelievable atmosphere uh obviously a hell of a team and at

That point like I said the adrenaline takes over and I felt great I guess so I mean it did it did look like both teams were super tired but when you have the opportunity maybe to get there that’s where just kind of Mind Over Matter takes uh takes your like

Your head and that’s just enables you to get that thing off yeah for sure I ain’t saying I wasn’t tired at all I definitely was tired winded uh but like you said it’s a it’s a mental thing when it gets to that point you got to just

Bear down and uh just show What You’re Made Of uh you know I’ve I’ve been you know forced to do that my whole career so when it comes to this it’s just the same thing Anthony Davis is behind your left shoulder there uh you played 52

Minutes the most by a Laker since Kobe in 2012 and it looked like he at some point sir as he walked by might have bang knees or something with Middleton uh what did he do to kind of get you guys to this point how impressive was

That I mean he stayed in the game I know he’s hurting uh every time out even when we were shooting free throws down there he was in the corner down here and his trainer is was working on him man you know like that’s just another you know

Mind Over You Know matter type of thing you know he wanted to you know continue to go to battle with us and you know anytime he’s on the court regardless if he’s not scoring if he’s scoring rebounding whatever he’s doing he’s making an impact last one for you I know

We’ll have to wait and see tomorrow but hopefully you’ll get LeBron back and can certainly need him in this kind of a context in the back to back after this double OT Victory know yeah for sure I mean anytime you can get brown back it’s good uh yeah hopefully he’s back I don’t

Know anything uh you know on his status but you know anytime you see you know Brown in a jersey you know on your team you’re yeah happy about it I know you’re not tired but go get some rest anyway yes sir appreciate you there’s Austin Reeves seeing some

Lakers fans in Milwaukee what a comeback 128 to 124 inot brez the Lakers have now scored 278 points in the last two games and defensively they really stepped up there in that fourth quarter when James and fish both said that they could have just said it’s over they got the stops they

Held the honest to just six points in the fourth and both those OTS just give us your you know thoughts on this unbelievable comeback yeah held Milwaukee to what 13 points in that last quarter that’s unbelievable for a team that’s at home had all the momentum in

The world with that 19point lead uh earlier in the fourth quarter guys big picture I think this is the game this is the win that could get the Lakers in that seven8 playing game they want they want nothing to do with that 910 that’s that’s an elimination game but now you

Got to win where you weren’t expecting it you’re two games behind the Phoenix Suns you have the tiebreaker with them and you see the standings right there and the Suns have a horrible schedule their last 10 games are an absolute brutal March whereas the Lakers this was

The hardest game on the road trip they got five more games they’re going to be favored in four of them Memphis tomorrow BR are you at all concerned about landing at what 2 3 in the morning in Memphis all these guys playing 52 minutes yeah they’ve already had call

And Delay the the private jet by an hour so the charter flight so yeah it’s definitely going to be a fatigue thing we just heard Austin Reeves talking about ad’s knee how much attention he needed even during timeouts from his his trainer you know you got to see how he

How he’s doing how LeBron’s ankle is feeling yeah keep mind no LeBron tonight and the Lakers still pulled off this Big Win Second win over the Bucks this month with no LeBron James this is as you said James huge character win period big game

Ad uh AR DLo who who who do you want to start with ad maybe I mean that was a what four blocks it’s it’s hard not to start with ad playing hurt I mean you you start with either but ad some incredible defense down the stretch some

Blocks and to me uh like like Austin Reeves said mine over matter because he could have easily said look we got to back to back I’m going to chill get some ice but he felt like he could continue and be effective that’s the thing it’s one thing to continue just to be out

There but he continued and continued to dominate so I just love to see him able to push through the the little the little pain and all that you know that was the the the O ad might have you know he might have you know shut it down but

He’s learned how to play through that because he know his team needs him and I just love that that that characteristic about him now and you know what also you made me think of something James because because you hit on some great things right there uh his numbers were off the

Charts right 34 points 23 rebounds the six stocks four blocks all those at the end were were huge but the rough start to this game in included ad missing some shots but he was playing hard but it was getting frustrating he had that put back

Dunk at the end of the first I remember but the the way that he kind of got himself into this game fish and didn’t worry about the misses and just did his job and then at the end was there being the MVP yeah that’s the the the maturity

The growth that ad has shown over the last you know four or five seasons just continuing to mature and understand and embrace actually the the idea that I I don’t have to focus on scoring in order to feel like I can lead this team to

Victory so when you get off to a slow start the ball isn’t going in ad’s at a point in his career where he’s not panicking he’s not going to try to force his shot he’s going to continue to rebound change and block shots continue

To be a guy that the team can depend on as a stabilizing factor and then his offensive opportunities which a lot of times come from offensive boards it’s not as though he got buckets off of play after play after play he’s just playing hard and and making the right plays you

Guys are smart can can you answer a question for me I just looked it up ad is still third tied for third for the defensive player of the year award Rudy goar is ahead of him nice player ad seemly seemingly lights him up every time Victor wanyama is second ahead of

Him they’ve won like five games how is ad when he has like a game-saving block shot of Dame Lillard going down the left side at the end of the first OT and just just all over the map defensively tonight with his his his bum knee that apparently he bang knees with Chris

Middleton that’s what trudell picked up on how is he that low in the DP and Bre he’s even lower remember yeah when you did it about a month ago yeah I mean he’s been like I mean you could say oh the Lakers aren’t that good yeah well

Neither are the Spurs you know yeah and the Lakers are good I mean listen Lakers are what now seven games over 500 they won four in a row I’m glad you brought that up but listen I want to talk about Austin Reed I mean we we we love this

Guy he’s he’s Flatout winning basketball player isn’t he he was 10 for 20 tonight shot 50% he ended up with the triple double second of his career look at these numbers begin 29 fore spee Fore Foree foreign Speee Spee spee fore spee speech foreign Speech Fore fore [Applause] Spee e for okay speeech Spee Helloe spee speee Spee Fore fore fore Foree Spe spee [Applause] Speeech spee [Applause] spee now Now Spee spee Spee spee [Applause] foree eat Foree m

  1. This team plays an entirely different game without Bron holding or dribbling with the ball at the top of the key and launching up a one legged fade away 3…

  2. The Suns could easily lose 8/9 of their last 10 games but even if they lose only half of that the Lakers could take over the 8th seed

  3. They better without LeBron because the ball move around more n you don't gotta worry about him stat chasing or whining

  4. They just realized this… smh
If LBJ played, maybe results are the same..
But LeBron is too ball dominant, to his own detriment. Needs the ball too much to operate effectively, and in turn other players don't have the ball long enough to get in rhythm.
LJB touches the ball every possession, every play Lol
That's why all loses fall on him👀

  5. Lakers, 32 FT's. Bucks, 17 FT's. Tell me about how the refs aren't pushing this team. Tell me about how it is perfectly normal that the Lakers net FT differential is 700 FT's greater THAN THE NEXT CLOSEST TEAM. It is also almost 1700 FT's greater than the Warriors net FT differential. The Lakers are trash without the refs acting like 3 extra Lakers players on the floor, night in and night out.

  6. Lakers are not better without LeBron, but shows this team can put in one off performances without him and that bodes well for any potential series run. With such options, this means Bron can be rested and DH just has to play his cards right.

  7. You people are so stupid, it’s mind boggling, you lakers fans don’t deserve lebron, talking there better without him, pure idiocy, that’s what I mean, hating on a man
