[Koreen] While others like Javon Freeman-Liberty, Jordan Nwora, the since-departed Jahmi’us Ramsey and Gary Trent Jr. have had slivers of nice stretches, none has made an ironclad case for sticking around well into the future.

Ahhh shiii to have Koreen name drop GTJ like that, can’t be good news come re-signing. Either that or trying to leverage him for a lower deal?

Other than Dick, it has been very disappointing

I see undrafted guys like FVV, Sam Hauser, Jose Alvarado and Austin Reaves and think there’s not enough spots in the league for NBA level players and it’s time for expansion. Then I see all the guys we’ve given a chance to this year and think maybe a 30 team league is enough

lol I didn’t even know that Jahmi’us Ramsey is not on the team anymore.

Im saying keep GTJ. He is clearly an NBA quality player which we are lacking in.

GTJ is averaging 22/4/2 with 1.4stls on 58%ts over his last ten games. He hasn’t made an ironclad case but for a team that has suffered horrible shooting for the past few years, I hope we keep him for a reasonable price.

Remember the days where we had a coveted G-League pipeline and actually had guys become quality bench players or starting players. Oh those days are looooong gone

I don’t agree with Koreen that Ochai Agbaji has played solidly. The more I’ve seen him the less I believe in him as an NBA player.

I thought Ramsey actually looked ok? He was one of the youngest players among the projects, built like a rock, and solid athleticism.

Of course he was an awful shooter.

I guess the FO didn’t see anything in him.

I think Javon Freeman Liberty has played pretty good actually. 12 for 21 over the past two games that he has started. Only started 3 games this season. I like the way he cuts to the basket, his hustle plays, his energy.

It’s also hard to even tell the talent level when you’re playing with this team. Everything is all over the place.

I think you re-sign JFL without a doubt. To me it’s different than the other players listed here. He’s a rookie. Let’s say a team drafted JFL and he was playing like this, they would actually be happy with the way he’s played. Got to give a rookie a lot more leeway in my opinion. Need to start building from the ground up.

Look at Isaiah Joe, he didn’t have the best first two seasons in the league on the sixers, he averaged 36% and 35% from the field. But a team saw the potential and look at how he’s playing now. Have to give young guys a chance.

  11. Can’t believe our 5-10 guys aren’t doing well against the 1-5 of better teams.
