What did you want to see from that group to S with them and how did they kind of recover from that um I think you a lot of it well most of it I know for sure was just turning the basketball over and so we were doing a good job defensively we

Were getting stops but when you giving up pick sixes where they’re getting dunks and layups in transition you can’t recover from that and so you know we do a great job build 11-point lead playing good basketball and then we just get comfortable you know and turn the ball

Over careless passes um you we I think we had three turnovers in that stretch a bad shot and then a bad defensive play you know and allowed him to get back in the game and so you know we just can’t we can’t do that and turn the ball over

17 times you know for a good offensive team like we are um you just can’t do it and so you know a lot of those are careless turnovers you know um I don’t think anything they they did was really affecting us but we just got to be

Better you know taking care of the basketball and um but like I said I loved our defense tonight I thought we did some good things I thought coming out in the third quarter making adjustment switching their pick and roll kind of slowed down their triggers a little bit and got them a little

Stagnant um Zoo did a good job with that um and overall like another tough gritty win Force you know coming down the stretch keeping our composure getting down late in the game but finding a way to win the game and so that’s what you

Got to do um if you want to be a good team I was say despite the turnover you talked about the last game having a playoff field this one was like a grinded out physical game you had to like kind of like how you guys answer

That chall yeah I did I you know I thought they brought the physicality out of us you know being a top three defensive team like I said mes has you know done a great job with this young team of just making them be a defensive minded team and then you know scoring

Second and so we knew it was going to be a grind coming into the game um we got some good looks that we didn’t you know we normally make we didn’t knock down but I thought overall you know I thought kaai was really good I thought zuo was

Really good and then PG you know coming through down the stretch you know to help us close the game and so um it’s going to be a total team effort you know for these last nine games but tonight like I said I did like our fight I liked

Our our Brazilian in our and our um ready to compete you know for 48 minutes and we did that until the last five minutes did you say something or just yeah just stay with it you know we know he can score um from a lot of different positions a lot of different

Spots and you know he’s made big shots for us time and time again you know even when he’s struggling to score the basketball early you know late in the games you know he’s done a great job of bringing us home you know a lot of times

And so um you know he was huge for us down the stretch got a couple stops couple rebounds and he made some big shots as well coach uh at this point of the Season what’s the biggest area of improvement that you need from the team right now well I like our defense you

Know as of late it’s been you know a lot better um transition defense has been really good outside the turnovers um but just offensively just you know continue to get to the second and third actions um is something we got to you know continue to keep getting better at

Because we have have great one-on-one players and so I mean most times on the floor they got a mismatch but you can’t you know take advantage of that mismatch every single time and so um just getting better with that but then also understand how team is going to play and

Like tonight was like more of a playoff field um they’re a good defensive team some things that we do well they take away and so we had to play a different style of basketball and uh we was able to win the game coach uh in the last 11

Games you guys are five and six and you guys are and five and five and one the RO so their playoffs are right to the corner probably two more weeks to start a playoff which area do you think that you guys uh need to improve as a team

You know to be successful on a first round playoffs Ser this yeah I think like like I said earlier just you know we’re getting better defensively I think we’re um understanding what we need to do switching up coverages and then paying attention to detail but getting back in transition um not allowing teams

To get easy baskets make them play against our half court defense which is pretty good as well so just taking care of the B basketball is one area we got to clean up and then rebounding the basketball you know offensive rebounds you know we got to be be better with

That can you also talk to us about uh the confidence in these game especially you know was a little bit rough first half for you guys and why Lear at second half with big big plays and big shot with 30 seconds you guys le87 and then Paul George with a big

Shot that gave you guys a l about confidence these two players specifically in the yeah just um they brought us home since they’ve been here and you know going down the stretch um we know if we keep the game close we got you know two three four guys that can

Can bring us home and so um the other night you like said Kawai um what he did offensively in Philly and then with the big block you know the big stop and then tonight you know PG with the big shots down the stretch along with Kawai and so

Just being able to affect the game in different ways like I said PG um wasn’t shooting the ball well but you know made two big shots down the stretch um the same thing with kawhai you know and Philly you know made a big block made you know a couple big layups so just

Just bringing something different to the table every night um know you’re not going to shoot the ball well um that’s part of the game but the other things you can bring to um um having effect on the team and have an effect on winning and they’ve been doing that for us as of

Three in the first half and then only making three threes in the second half so I thought about switching you know just making them stagnant makeing them play one-on-one um allowed us to to keep them at Bay you know they’re really good at getting into the pocket and using

That butt dribble to keep you off you know off balance and now you got a roller and it makes it tough and now you pulling in they skip into the corner for threes and so I thought about switching you know in the second half really

Helped us and allowed us to stay home on three-point shooters
