Doesn’t matter how we win, but we needed to take advantage of Houston losing. Given we are facing Dallas next, this is even bigger.

But god damn, this is Wemby in his rookie year, what a a freak.

  2. Balls_of_Adamanthium

Unserious finish, but after 5 games in 8 days, a W is a fucking W.

  3. CangtheKonqueror

why can this team never win in a normal fashion

also what a rebound by dray to set up the klay dagger. absolutely massive

  4. Robotsaur

Draymond absolutely owned that game, holy shit. What a 2nd half.

  5. Some_Championship506

That’s why Draymond is worth the trouble.

  6. GivesCredit

Really glad we won but next season we have to address these fourth quarters

  7. BigbeeInfinity

Why is Payton challenging a 3 while up 4? That’s incredibly stupid.

  8. purple_cupcake_52

Not the best 4th quarter but gotta hand it to Dray for stepping up in the 3rd. Could not have won this game without him

  9. Spurs commentators: back in my day we let the players decide

1 min later they want a foul for Wembanyama splaying out his legs on a three lmao

That GP2 tech was ridiculous, literally everyone does it??

  11. I wonder what that postgame talk was with GP2, Kerr, and Pops

  12. unspooling

Road warriors at it again. Gritty win. Nicely done and way to cap off this trip.

  13. That was a spicy fucking finish against an 18 win team

  14. Pop tellin GP “What the fuck are you doing?” jumpin at Wemby on the last play.

  15. m3ngnificient

That was almost like 2016 game 7 Dray out there. He just decided he needs to win.

    – Draymond’s push in the 3rd quarter really gave this team the stability it needed. Just excellent defense and good aggressiveness on offense. Wemby was playing him to pass the whole 1st half and he decided to take the space he was being given. Critical plays down the stretch, just a classic Dray night.
    – Really didn’t like Klay’s play tonight overall. Maybe it’s just the end of a long road trip, but I thought his defensive awareness was flat out bad, a lot of braindead passes, some ill-advised shots. We’ve seen a more steady game from Klay when he’s not making shots this year, but this wasn’t one of those. Kerr held him out for a very long time in the 4th, but it was nice to see him come back and hit a big shot. It’s why you can’t ever count him out.
    – With Kuminga’s drive game not available, this was a game where some CP3 offense with Steph on the bench went a *long long* way. It’s not pretty and it’s not even wildly efficient, but it is a reliably okay shot.
    – Wiggins was really bad. My god.
    – Podz mostly good. Same issues driving into the teeth of the defense as the rest of the season. Needed his effort tonight.
    – Moody was solid too, but I want to see faster offensive decision-making. He’s so deliberate deciding to get the shot up and it can halt the offense if the defense closes in time.

  17. What a game. Gosh I enjoy this team. Loved seeing the end: Steph respecting Wemby enough not to drive, Dray with the board and assist to, of course, Klay. Vintage and just awesome

I’m pretty happy the dynasty is ending while Wemby is still coming into his own. He’s going to be a perennial contender on his own pretty soon here

  19. great-distances-1919

GP2 basically fouling Wemby at the end on the 3. DUDE. Looks like Kerr had Pops read him the riot act.

  20. joejohnjohnston1

This year is punishment for all the years when 4th quarter was time to rest the starters.

  21. richstyle

easy 8th seed if Dray plays like this consistently

  22. EdtotheWord

What in the hell was GP2 thinking at the very end? I get MAYBE just putting a hand up for the hell of it, but jumping up into Wemby with full intention to try to stop him? Ridiculous

  25. Zealousideal_Net_752

Draymond went off tonight. You can see how valuable he is beyond all his talking and BS. We need him to be a complete team.

  26. Popovich coaching up an opposing player above that last play is actually hilarious
