I understand Gobert being upset but I don’t think there was malicious intent behind his box out. I dont think he was expecting to box out Gobert there and just went into his normal stance
There wasn’t even a chance at a rebound he just wanted to throw his body into Gobert.
I don’t think he was going after his knees on purpose but still its still a dirty play.
Exact same thing as the Beverly Westbrook incident except he didn’t get hurt and everybody hates Gobert so nobody cares.
If Alex did this to any other star of and they got hurt he would never live it down.
