Mike Brown on his Kings adjusting to playing without Malik Monk, Keegan Murray becoming a playmaker

Following Monday’s practice in Sacramento, Kings head coach Mike Brown talks about the need of everyone to step-up in the absence of Malik Monk, seeing Keegan Murray become more of a playmaker, using De’Aaron Fox off-ball, recognizing that the adversity they’ve faced due to recent injuries should provide opportunities and reflects back on Sunday’s win over the Utah Jazz.

  1. Malik isn't really out…Because he's been used half way anyways…Really no different with Malik out…Malik will come back sooner than later

  2. Mike .you have to limit Fox 3pt attempts. Can't afford him taking 7.6 attempts each game and missing 5 of them. Second, Barnes has to shoot MORE. He is shooting 40% from 3s and 48% overall with 80% on the line and the career numbers are very consistent. The Kings go from good to great and become more consistent if you just do the above. Fox has to stay on the floor ..ride him..he's 26 and not 34…there's 8 games left.
