I feel like once Glen is gone maybe we get clarity.
I believe Taylor made some comments about Garnett’s commitment in his final 18-24 months after he was traded, which is what initiated the whole beef.
Flip then managed to somewhat repair the relationship and bring KG back, which apparently involved a promise of the opportunity to buy a minority ownership once he retired. Flip passed, Thibs seemingly didn’t want KG on the team and it sounds as if Taylor either didn’t follow through on a promise Flip made or reneged on a promise he himself made.

I would love a Jon K timeline on Taylor’s tenure as owner.
It seemed to be promise of a successful joint ownership bid between Garnett and Saunders, back when teams were worth an eighth of what they are now. Tough to find these days because there’s so many filler articles online and probably because it violates the NBA’s CBA for illegal employee renumeration
