Oh my God! My favorite point guard Chris Paul just retired 😢

  2. This dude played on like half the teams in the league

I’ll always love Rondo, he was the perfect player to slot alongside the PP/KG/Ray

  4. Mixed bag off the court, but he was one of my favorite Celtics players on the court.

  5. greatergoon

rip i will always remember your 18/17/20 game

  6. BlockOfTheYear

Rondo was super fun to watch, especially in his prime but even after that he was still very smart, crafty and creative. It was always a great time watching him battle other good PG’s too.

Kinda hard to speak kindly of him now but he’s the main reason I’m a Celtics fan. Bittersweet.

    Fuck him, though!

    — 16 Seasons
    — 4x All-Star
    — 4x All-Defense
    — 2x NBA Champion

    hall of famer

lol he was on the cavs???

anyway, good player but horrible dude off the court. But of course, no one in the league is gonna acknowledge it and he’ll get plenty of spots on ESPN and players podcasts

an unreal big game player. Bulls probably win against us in 2016-17 if he stays healthy, and make it to the ECF

He looks like Urkle took up basketball instead of science.

  12. I’ll never forget him completely quitting on the Mavs mid-game during the playoffs. He was hard to root for before then, and impossible to root for after.

I wonder what his career would’ve looked like without that torn ACL in 2013. He was really starting to emerge as the clear second-best PG in the NBA (behind Chris Paul) – the dude had like 30 straight games with at least 10+ assists and was racking up absurd 12/18/20 triple doubles. Then he tore his ACL, the Celtics broke up their core, and he was never quite the same (although he still had some great playoff moments and was a huge contributor on the Lakers in 2020).

One thing about Rondo though is I don’t think anyone doubts him as a guy who will show up in the playoffs and give it his all to help his team win. Every contender in the league would’ve liked a guy like him.

My favorite player of all time, absolutely 100% inexplicably. He was just a pure freak.

  15. One of my favorite plays was when DRose blocked Rondo for the win in one of the best playoff series ever.

Then Rondo came to the Bulls for a bit.

Dude’s bubble run was still insane. Just magically was able to shoot 3’s

  17. Lowyat_Slyder

Still remain the only one who won the titles with both Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers. Yet not a dynasty member at all.

What a feat from a flawed genius.

  18. I assumed he was already retired, not being on NBA roster last season.

  19. ItsDrManhattan

One of my all time fav players and a huge reason why i loved to play as a pass first PG

  20. Lebron’s smartest teammate, huge part of the Bubble Lakers Champs. One of the best true point guard.

  21. FGonGiveItToYa

    Crucial piece for the lakers.

Wondering if he’s gonna be a HOF. not the strongest resume but worse players made it

  22. iamStanhousen

The one season he played in New Orleans, he was so good. I still think if Boogie didn’t get hurt that team could have been hyper dangerous in the post season.

  23. YourAsianBuddy

One of the most intelligent, if not the most, PGs I’ve ever watched play the game.

  24. Perfect thumbnail picture. Cavaliers legend Rajon Rondo will be forever remembered.

Get this man a coaching job, also a blasphemy Boston didn’t retire his jersey imo
