If Embiid and Maxey are locked in and feeling themselves, there is no stopping that duo. But that’s not gonna happen every game, in fact, we’ll be lucky if we can get that twice a series. Our chances are gonna boil down to if Oubre, Lowry, Payne, Reed, etc. can keep their dawg going when they’re getting chances and space.
Cause honestly, if Batum is knocking down the corner 3s, Oubre is successfully attacking the rim, and Tobias is putting in moderate effort, there isn’t much way to defend our offense whether Embiid/Maxey are as efficient as usual or not

Look guys, if Embiid is the most dominant player in the Eastern Conference, we should not be more than a small underdog against the Celtics. The reason we have always lost to them is because Embiid hasn’t lived up to his potential in those series.
If Embiid plays like the MVP, we can take them with a bit of luck and should be favored against any other team in the association.

Fuck that if Embiid is back to 100% or close to it I give us decent odds to get the chip. Maybe not the favorites but the Celtics might be the only team that I think would worry me. We already punked the Wolves, Nuggets and OKC before our new arrivals, the west is strong but not top heavy.

We literally haven’t made it out of the second round in decades, have a starter who is a ghost that everyone hates, our emerging star guard has yet to step up in the playoffs and our best player hasn’t played in months. Biggest thing is Embiids health and conditioning. If he can return to form prior to the injury, sky is the limit. Embiid-melt-Oubre-batum-maxey lineup was like +33 net rating! Throw buddy and Lowry into the mix (some cam Payne too) and they should seriously be feared. Let’s hope Embiid can be healthy!

The Sixers can win it all if Joel is what he was pre injury. We were already a top 3 team, and the team has gotten better/more fitting pieces in Buddy, Kyle, and Cam. LFGGGGG
