Glad it was mentioned but Lowe was one of the people who defended Devins contract. Feels great to have him locked down through 2029 at under $30 mil a year.

Thanks for posting this. I made that “what do we think about Devin” post earlier and the word that seemed to come up a bunch was “inconsistent”. I think he’s been developing nicely and was just starting to really click with Wemby.

He will be the Middleton to wembys Giannis!

I’m fully convinced Vassell can be the #2 guy on a Spurs championship team.

Gotta say I’ve been making that Middleton comp for awhile. Glad others are seeing it. Even last year I thought he eventually could be the 3rd best guy on a great team at least. I’m glad he’s starting to get some pub, next year I expect a lot more conversation about him. At least enough so people stop pronouncing his name “Vaasil”.

The insight here that I totally agree with is that it all comes down to him getting to the rim. He has improved a lot just from the start of the season but still needs to get better and stop settling for long twos

Did they discuss other guys like Sochan or Keldon?

He would be a solid 7th or 8th man on a championship team

Devin’s contract starts at 20% of the cap and declines to 13% of the cap. Fantastic value for the guy.
