Dereck Lively is made of glass. How does a player get injured 7 times in only 55 games? He has never been able to play more than 9 games without getting hurt. It’s not like the Mavs were riding him hard. He averages only 23.5 minutes per game.

Bruh, its just been getting worse. He was walking ok the day he got injured, last game he was ruled out as just having soreness. This sounds like we’re downplaying this more than it is.

I looked it up and this is now the 7th time he’s had to miss a game after playing a game. Some of those were only a 1 game absence, but quite a few with multi-game absences. We could benefit from an older vet on a minimum that will stop Kidd from depending on Powell or Kleber.
