As Keyshawn Johnson pointed out, we may want to be against Denver early. For the reason that during the WCF, Lebron was already gassed and tired, and that's a big factor since Lebron is not young anymore compared to Denver and they may be the toughest match up they will ever meet in the playoffs. And yeah, I would rather have them Lakers go toe-to-toe with Denver well-rested.

Gabe and Spencer were huge on defense today. They sparked the 2nd qtr run and the late 3rd qtr run forcing turnovers and bad shots with pesky perimeter defense. I saw Gabe fighting through screens better that anyone on this team has all season except maybe Vando. 0pts for Gabe but massive impact. Thats what weve been missing perimeter defense Gabe can bring it. I have to admit I wasnt sold on him at all but i think hes legit.
