  1. They are going to make 6th place. Suns will lose two of their final five. Pels will lose two of their final 5. Kings will lose two of their last 5. Lakers will win their last 4. LBJ isn’t sitting tomorrow. Lakers should go hard for 6th place. That way they avoid the nuggets in the first round. Lakers are going to be a surprise this year when they knock off whomever comes out of the east.

  2. Austin has not been that great from three

But his defense has stepped up and he has been very efficient attacking the basket

Awesome! He has made some great plays facilitating others

  3. 7 points for the starting 2guard and you say he had a good game lol pitiful! Gab needs to start, you appreciate someone who wants to play defense needs to be at the 2, your slow mascot reeves has to come off the bench. Rambis is forcing ham to play him!!

  4. Say it with your chest. We're number eight! We're number eight! We're number eight! Thank the Kam brothers for this intro. But you have to say it's spot-on when moving up to number eight in the West got us Laker fans breaking out the pom poms.

As well as the Lakers have been playing over the last ten games, I think the team is a move away from playing even better. What's that move? Well, thank you for asking. Move Austin to the bench and Dinwiddie into the starting lineup. I say this for a couple of reasons, one of which we have explored rather extensively on Lakers Nation.

First replacing Austin with Dinwiddie balances the Lakers' overall structure, more defense in the starting backcourt and more scoring off the bench. I don't think making this move would be a drastic change at all; because, as has been pointed out on these podcasts, the stats indicate that the D'lo-Dinwiddie tandem is the most effective tandem of all the guard combinations. So, in saying this, I'm not adding anything new to this discussion regarding sitting Austin, which is often proposed in Laker Nation chats.

What I'm bringing to the conversation that's rarely discussed is my second reason for moving Austin to the bench. Playing with the second unit may be just what he needs to get his game on track. If you remember, at the start of the season, Austin was in a similar offensive funk. Ham moved him to the bench where he consequently got it going.

We are going to need Austin to do Austin "thangs". But my contention is we have enough scoring in the starting unit. We see it now in the absence of scoring from Austin. Once AR gets it going again, I'm convinced his points would be more impactful to overall team success coming from the second unit. For one thing, with an efficient Austin, the second unit would be less inclined to squander leads as it is doing now.

And, yes, of course Austin should be in the closing unit. I'm not hating on AR. I want to see him putting up an efficient 5 of 7 from 3. Not talking demotion here, but a redistribution of Laker resources to get the best out of him and the team.

  5. PDiddy😮: Sup Jay Z
    Jay Z 😮 Sup Puff
PDiddy😮: FBI got a Slam Dunk Nothing but Net case against us.
Jay Z 😮: Ya and Front Row seats to watch it all.
PDiddy 😮 That's the way the ball bounces sometimes
JayZ😮: Yep its definitely OverTime for us and the rest of.the Team
PDiddy😮: I'm out of the Game there won't be a Next Season for me
Jay Z 😮: hear that one.

  6. Defense is looking better and 3 pt percentage is good…I like the momentum at this point in the season 😊

  7. I know Sean has answered this question

But my question for Trevor is… Right now, who do you think is the best coach for this team to replace Ham??

I'm talking coaches who might be available

  8. After that Boston game I tried to hit my Boston born and bred best bud up and talk some smack

I told him that his team couldn't even properly lose a game to hurt the Lakers

For some reason he did not seem overly concerned that his Celtics could not even lose a game if they tried…sigh

  9. I mean i was watching at 1am start . And watched till 2:30am where at half we were leading and i knew our laker meant buisness today. love the work Trevor. Thank you . Watching from India. LFG lakers 🎉❤

  10. Lol
So many fans thinking we can get 6

I only follow the Lakers so I have no clue if other fans are as delusional as ours

  11. This cameraman on the sidelines crap has been going on for way too long

The truth is there's absolutely no reason for them to be there

  12. The offense does click but they take their foot off the gas and let teams come back. They can't keep doing that once you have a team down put them away so the starters can rest. On another note they still need a big. Because if you run into Denver we don't have an answer for joker. So Rob, please bring in D. Howard or someone that can get physical with joker .

  13. I'm mad the Lakers let Scottie pippen jr go he ballin with the grizz palinka needs to be fired he let Malik Monk melo Howard McGee kcp Lonnie Walker 4th go drafted horribly hired ham and traded for d-lo and vando instead of buddy heild and Miles Turner and the media still keep gassing him up he's a bum that's why magic left

  14. How does a team stop turning the ball over. Ham has talked about the need to stop turning the ball over all season without effect. Generally, a person will only stop a negative behavior when it has a personal negative consequence. So how about this. Set up a Turnover Pot per game in which a player pony ups 1,000 dollars for every turnover. And for that game, the pot goes to the player who forces the most turnovers on the opposing team. In one ring-a-ling of Pavlov's bell you got both the negative and positive conditioning to produce change.

  15. Great game, but I sure wish dumbass Ham would stop playing worthless Gabe Vincent and give those minutes to Max Christie, who's equally good or better on defense and definitely better on offense.

  16. Tell hamburger to stop playing 3 guards lineup in the second unit. Play Cam or max with either Spencer or Gabe and dlo or Reaves

  17. I think only watching the position on the table is small picture. We actually have more wins than we did last season already (43-39). We are actually 12 games above .500 Imagine if we win out the rest and finish 16 games above 💪🏾🟣🟡🟣🟡🟣🟡

  18. I've been watching NBA basketball since 1990 and Gabe Vincent is one of the worst players I've ever seen.

  19. The winner of the in season tournament should own every tiebreaker 1) cause that would be a prize worth playing for & 2) they played an extra game, they won the exrtra game, they are a half game ahead anyway

  20. So if the Lakers go 4-0 we can end up the 6th seed if the:

    Suns go 3-2
    Pels 4-1
    Kings 4-1

if we go 3-1 then the

    Suns 2-3
    Pels 3-2
    Kings 3-2

Suns play Pelicans Clippers Clippers Kings and Wolves

Pels play Suns Blazers Kings Warriors Lakers

Kings play Nets Thunder Pelicans Suns Blazers

What really helps is that they play eachother and in my opinion if we continue to roll we we'll get at least the 7th seed. It all depends on what the Clippers are going to do in those games against the Suns.

  21. Tillman would have been a great dirty work big.man the lakers could have got for CHEAP!! Why year after year every chance we have dies rib refuse to get us what we NEED to help us win in a denver matchup everybody sees it everybody knows it we have chance after chance after chance and rob doesmt give af!!!! Why do u need second round oicks so bad foh !

  22. Tbh id rather play max iver spencer or gabe, idc that he ie young. He is just as good if not a better defender than thise guys. Hes is quicker and more athletic..he has good size.. is a way better rebounder than both of them, and a way better shooter than both of them. Perfect fit for the lakers but ham doesnt see it cuz he is a mf idiot

  23. Dlo gets a bad rap.. yes he performed badly in the Finals but he was the reason the Lakers GOT to the finals. He literally brought them back from the brink of elimination
