Whom do I need to bribe to have DJ sitting on the bench for the next 4-6 years?
I know roster spots for talent/development are valuable, but this guy’s energy, reactions, and the way the other players talk up his “presence” makes it seem like he’s a keeper.

And I will add, that I still love when we take DJ off the shelf and let him use his size and paint presence, with a smattering of new lob city.
He’s perfect for this team.
It would be very difficult to argue against any scheme to keep him around forever ever. Would love to see him old and gray falling backwards into the bench in reaction to some sick play the next generation of nuggs will be pulling off.
We need to bring back the player-coach position for DJ. He spreads both vibes and knowledge.
If we can spare a spot sure, don’t think so next year because of all the young developmental guys on the roster
