Umm all Houston had to do was foul on that last possession. Rockets were up 3, with 8seconds left… you foul and now Dallas goes to the line for two even if they made both, rockets still up 1… idk how you let them take a 3 at the end of the game…. even crazier rockets only made one of their last 4 freethrow attempts

And just like that the door SLAMS!!..on the rocket playoff hopes. Houston had a great season, shengun getting hurt forced them to play a certain style they would not have tapped into if he wasn’t injured.
The offense turned into a constant Motion offense such the likes of Denver, Golden State and Miami. In the End Shengun was still greatly missed as this time of year you need a beefy player on the blocks that can Isolate his defender and get two points when the offense having difficulty scoring.
These guys are in tremendous shape to be playing basket 5 months straight. The body can only do so much before falling off the cliff around game 76 of 82.
You can simply look into the players face in game and see complete exhaustion. The defense shrinks because your legs are dead and they start missing more and more long range shots so this is when Shengun would have really help getting easy buckets in the post .
Again great season for Huston, I hope this young team learn from this that in the late stage of the NBA season they have to figure out other ways to score because the body done ran into a brink wall. Even though they young the energy is just not there to blow by someone on the perimeter finishing above the rim 4:34 was a perfect example.
