“I'm not sure on that. I think Cam [Thomas] has been aggressive and then Dennis [Schroder] being more aggressive, it's kinda just that work point of being that middleman. But I'm just trying to find it."

It is fairly obvious that Mikal has taken a complete step back on offense and become the 3rd ball handler in Dennis and Cam lineups. He is struggling to an extent but also just looks like there’s a clear focus on Cam over Mikal.
This dude basically gave the keys to Cam and said, “Here, take it. I can’t cook”
Being the first option type player did not work out. And it clearly was affecting him mentally.
Time to reset this off-season and focus on his strengths as a player – being a elite two way player.
The rockets struggles over the last few games might give us one more shot. Try to get our picks back. Even if it’s 2 picks a swap and some role players that’s valuable bc it gives us a 3 yr window to rebuild with our picks.
I think Mikal can still be an effective 18-20 PPG scorer alongside the right talent and with better coaching.
He’s not the guy he was last season and he’s not the guy he’s been the last few months…somewhere in the middle.
Also he needs to just take a damn day off lol. He’s looked lethargic at times.
Has anyone ever heard of a guy having an off year? Some of you want to make it a career indictment
