Great player, very intelligent in cuts, great IQ, knows how to pass the ball very well and it is important that he has good chemistry with Wemby, greetings from Chile GSG.
Smart, scrappy, athletic, strong, and plays hard every possession. A true Spur!
Let go Mamu! 16 boards aint no joke. Your time is gonna come ⏳
Just noticed that Sandro and I have some of the same tattoo. Nice one.
I really think Mamu fit more starting with Wemby than Sochan
He's more polished than Sochan, know when/where to screen, when/where to cut, He's way more efficient than Sochan.
On D yeah Sochan is more switchable and versatile, but he do just an average job at it (look at every D-Metrics) but Mamu have the same hustle spirit, and can rebound as well as Sochan.
Mamu have the perfect size for a 4, where Sochan is undersized and not athletic enough to compensate that.
In few games you can already see how much the combo Wemby+Mamu works better than the combo Wemby+Sochan…
Time for a long term deal team. Don't let this guy go and bring this to another team
Pop is legendary no doubt, but he is a strange and stubborn man, calling Mamu " One of His favourite players because of his movements and IQ" and not playing him for months isnt the right way. He needed injuries to let us see what the boy can really do, who knows if Sochan wasnt injured if we'd ever see him being himself. I am a spurs fan since the late 90's but it doesnt mean I have to be blind to these things. I am sure they'll at least give him a contract next year, otherwise this will become another "just talk good but do the players dirty" kind of Organisation which Spurs never was
Well done Mamu. Glad your time to shine has come.
