So this is what I have a problem with…seasons ago, Donovan made an example out of Zach LaVine and sat him on the bench for what the HC considered his lack of play. But you see this nonsensical 2 on none fast break blown by a couple of veteran players show boating in a game where you’re down by 10 in the first quarter…and this was done in front of your bench while the entire coaching staff, and young players watched…and you did nothing about it. In fact you left Craig in the game for him to later pick up a technical foul as the lead was narrowed. Billy didn’t bench him. He didn’t make an example of Craig because he’s partial to veterans and certain players. So what message does this send to the young players??
I mean it was embarrassing, but it didn't lose y'all the game. It's unnecessary and embarrassing, but I mean I could get past his reasoning. It's not crazy to think he wanted to spark the team energy
In fairness I've seen players do that in games. Lebron has done it several times in regular season games. I've seen it happen elsewhere too, just can't remember who. It was silly, but it was more hilarious that they both jumped 😂. Not so much of him doing it, but the overall result. But either way the bulls are 9 or 10… so sums up bulls season I guess. Mediocre and got worse defensively from last season.
