[Keith Smith] Afford is merely a question for how much ownership is willing to pay. There are no rules that will restrict Boston from re-signing/extending everyone. It’s a matter of how much ownership will pay in salary + taxes, as well as restrictions on roster building moving forward.

  1. Wyc always said he would pay for a winning team. This is him backing that up.

Wyc’s the only billionaire around here trying to go for it anymore. you gotta appreciate it

We can always trade this contract if it’s bad. This is just a signal of serious commitment from ownership that they will continue to pay for this team. Which is really awesome to see.

If Wyc gets priced out of paying Hauser next summer I will be upset but will understand, White however is a must resign no matter what. Overpay if you have to, you cannot let a player like him leave

I mean ownership does have a finite amount of money

White re-signing will depend on if we win a championship or not this season.

Lets be real – I don’t know anything about Wyc as a person, but anyone who owns a sports team in Boston knows that they’ll be a legend in this city for the rest of their life if they win a title or two. I’m sure he’s not risking his mortgage for this.

Probably the best franchise in the NBA with an AMAZING team. I don’t think money is an issue.

Investing in these guys is a win win in my book

My only qualm is we are going to have to replace Horford eventually, financially idk how we get a someone that can guard Embiid/Jokic/Giannis and somewhat switch.
