I voted yes but only if we remove this year pick

  2. Yes if we remove the 2027 pick. Two picks and Dillon is too much

  3. modtosilver

Mikal is an upgrade, but he doesn’t fill a position of need for us.

Let Tari be our future 3.

  4. Dillon is a Dog and Mikal is not a dog. We lose a dog and potential to draft 2 future dogs. Dogs= 💍 💍 💍

  5. EternalRgret

We currently have more use for Dillon’s specific archetype than for Bridges’. Even though Bridges is overall better, I wouldn’t want to give up Dillon and two picks.

  6. Sweetest_Noise

Still no. Pick and Dillon – huge maybe.

Ya who wouldn’t take bridges. Amazing role player for the young core. He has to be on one of the best value contracts in the nba. I like brooks but mikal is an upgrade. Only problem is nets front office are deluded. They wouldn’t take that trade if they weren’t going to take 4 first and green. They didn’t even accept 2 firsts for Dorian Finney smith. Not sure what makes you think they take that without at least another two picks

  8. Repulsive-World-7301

Like 3 months ago maybe if 2027 was a 2nd and the other pick was conditional. They’ve said no too many times.

Why are people so obsessed with Mikel Bridges? I mean I am not a Brooks fan but I see no reason to trade all of that for Mikel Bridges.

If we are going to make a trade, we should try and get a real PG, one that isn’t under 6 feet.

Yes. I love me some DB9 but his contract is kind of insane, and would be amazing to get off the books, especially with the longevity of the deal, and the likely fact that he has already peaked in terms of his development.

  11. fiftytwice

No. Dillon is bigger part of who we are today. We need him during this transition phase.you can find/build another Mikal

  12. I_Bench315

The gap between brooks and bridges isn’t big enough to give up potentially two lottery picks

  13. Beep_Boop_IAmaRobot

    Yes in a heartbeat

This man came in 3rd in DPOY voting. He plays the most desirable position in the entire damn league. He’s a massive upgrade, the 9 pick is gonna be meh and who knows where the 2027 pick will end up.

I’m sorry he’s struggled with the other teams defense laser focused on him because the rest of the team is hot garbage.

    You guys are being ridiculous

  14. AlertPound9343

No I like brooks he always takes hardest defensive assignment and can knock down the 3. Draft a big with the pick. The perception of bridges has reached Tobias Harris on the clippers territory don’t fool yourself into thinking a role player is a star.

  15. You’re all underrating Dillon Brooks defense for a player that brings a little bit more offense.

  16. Everyone here severely underrates Bridges, just because he’s not a #1 on a championship team type of guy doesn’t mean he isn’t an extremely valuable player. A more switchable defender and a big upgrade on offense over Brooks and he’s a great contract

The only hesitation is as someone else said Brooks does have that dog in him and I think having at least a guy or two like that is good, although I think Amen and Tari might have it too. But that’s more an intangible thing, pure value wise this would be a great move for us. Wouldn’t even hesitate on the picks if it’s only 2. The swaps get more valuable in this deal too because the Nets would be worse.

I think that whole rumor mill thing with the potential “Jalen + picks” (which would have been a bad move if we did it I will say) broke brains here to make y’all want to hate on Bridges. The Nets probably don’t even take this deal anyway

  17. StraightShootahh

Nets fan here, who do y’all think Mikal Bridges is lmao

IMO Dillon Brooks is a better player than him and I would take that deal and run if I were the Nets.

Rockets should not be in the business of trading for role players before they’re even a playoff team
