Everyone slept on OKC and spurs. I don’t w see anyone beating OKC in 7. Nuggets gonna have a hard time with their size. This is coming from a nuggets fan too

I wanted the 1 seed and a chance to sweep the warriors. I also would have made a decent amount of money since I bet the Nuggets to win the division!
Nuggets fans think they’re already a dynasty after one ring and literally had the easiest path to the championship in recent memory. They played three play-in teams and the Suns would’ve gotten swept if Kawhi didn’t go down. Maybe the 8th seed Wolves were the most Challenging opponent if you look back? Every single team they play in this years playoffs will be better than anyone they played last year. And yall are saying you like your path better at the 2 seed!? 😂 comical. The Wolves have definitely gotten better. The Thunder and The Mavs weren’t near the level they’re at now, and mayyyybe Kawhi can stay healthy. Notice I didn’t even mention the teams you beat last year even though their rosters have stayed relatively the same and the Suns snagged them another star on top of book and KD. My point is, you’ve never played good team in the postseason and haven’t proven anything.
I know you can only beat the teams in front of you, players get injured and other teams can choke (coughBUCKScoughCELTICS). But be a little humble. The reality is, you didn’t have the best record in the league this year and your team stayed pretty healthy minus a stretch without Jamal. You talk about how Jokic is the best player in the league… well he should be able to carry since he’s the only all-star on the roster (yall say that a lot too). The Nuggets are just another good team in a conference loaded with good teams. They’ve done nothing to differentiate themselves from any of them, especially this season.
Ok, I now know the best bet of the first round is the bucks over Indy.
we have the home court, OKC home court is irrelevant, unless Murray is injured, then you need all the edge you can get
also be careful what you wish for, last year we had Dlo advantage, BB was cooking him, last year Lakers were tired out playing hard since March…this year it's fresh Lakers in the first round, you can't put Jeff G on LeBron…I think Lakers win (refs will push them hard) and last season is officially annulled in mainstream media
Adam good point of bringing up Jokic +/-, too bad he won't make it to 30 minutes in at least 2 games…you guys are so naïve it's laughable, refs will put Jokic on the bench in at least two games…3-4 if we get to 7

It's a dangerous mindset to think that the Lakers would be an easy series. Like the game against the Spurs. Mentality is important
I am a Nuggets fan but I am not as confident that the Lakers series will be easy.
Even though I believe Jokic will outplay LeBron and AD I think that the Lakers roster is clearly more talented and deep than Denver. The Nuggets are quite top heavy and Jokic and Murray can barely get rest in a game because nobody else can generate offense (kcp, Gordon and porter are play finishers but cannot create offense by themselves). The bench is below average too.
The Lakers, in addition to LeBron and AD have D Lo, Reaves, Hachimura, Dinwiddie, Gabe Vincent.
They can put stagger lineups to make AD and LeBron rest on many possessions.
Let's not forget that the Nuggets had Bruce Brown last year (arguably their fourth best player in the playoffs) who guarded d lo and LeBron on key possessions.
I am also worried about the refereeing. If you put the Lakers roster in a Utah jersey I wouldnt be worried. But because it's the Lakers the league will give them some help. In last year's sweep the Nuggets had to outplay them by a great amount just to barely win each game because the refs tried to put Jokic on foul trouble or give the Lakers a greater number of free throws.
I trust Jokic and Murray but I think that either Porter, AG or Braun cannot be no shows on offense if we want to win the series.
that SA Spurs game was brutal, lose to the last place team to lose 1 seed. I was working and missed it, couldn’t watch the highlights, lol. I guess we have to beat any of these match ups anyways. OKC can still, hopefully choke and give us the 1 seed back. I can’t wait for playoffs, go Nuggets!!
With Jokic, the Nuggets have the tools to overcome and to dominate all comers.
I like it. You want home court against Minnesota because they're actually solid, OKC isn't an issue, none of the play-in teams are very serious.
Doesn't matter the seed. To win the Chip you gave to beat everyone, you play agsinst
3 seed you knew your matchup yesterday, 2 seed you know tomorrow, 1 seed doesn't know till Friday. Its nice to know who you're playing so you can game plan and practice asap, but sometimes like last year an 8 seed is just hot and runs over everyone. I hope we didn't peak too early, and I hope we don't regret the Pelicans who give us a good fight most games because they have some matchups to exploit and Herb does slow Jamal.
