Just wait to see if he is at practice today or tomorrow. If he isn’t. Then panic.

If he is, then we’re all good.

Hopefully he’s just commenting on how important Embiid is and not what happened to his knee in the Magic game.

The Never Ending Cycle of a Sixers Fan:

    1. Embiid puts up insane numbers, team looks great, “this is our year” optimism

    2. Injury

    3. Comeback, put up insane numbers, team looks great

    4. Re-aggravate injury before playoffs <——- WE ARE HERE

    5. Heroic return, teams looks great

    6. Fizzle out when it matters the most, injury and fatigue excuse

    7. Fans who want off the carousel during offseason called stupid fair weather fans

Normally this wouldn’t concern me because he practiced Saturday and he was on track to play Sunday. He and Melton were both listed as OUT but it was deemed precautionary.

I thought this was just a smart way to give him some extra time since we might have to play on Wednesday. Unfortunately the article also states that Melton is OUT for the Heat game and is not expected to play in the first round. And he was supposed to get 15 minutes on Sunday according to Nurse after the Saturday practice.

So it’s hard to be too optimistic based on what we heard Saturday.
