Cam Thomas on if he had doubts about whether he’d ever be a core piece for the Nets after his first two seasons :

“No, not really… I always believe in myself… Sometimes it’s just timing… I love it here. I got drafted here, so I’ll always have a place for it.”

  1. We all saw how frustrated he was.

So hopefully he actually feels this way or at the least he’s matured and developed his communication skills.

I know we saw a lot of L’s but his development was really nice to watch. His passing, especially his lobs to Claxton later in the season. He was sticking to his man better on defense at the end of the year too.

It’s up to Cam Thomas to decide how far he’ll go his floor is CJ McCollum and his ceiling is prime Bradley Beal with better playmaking and durability in my opinion. But as long as he keeps putting up 40 and we keep losing hell only get mocked for being a Jordan Clarkson or Jamal Crawford with a green light.
