Cam Johnson speaking on Mikal Bridges’ struggles late in the year: “It was a team-wide thing… There’s no worry, there’s no doubt [about Mikal]. People are so quick to go, ‘Oh, maybe he’s not who we thought he was.’ But he’s only getting better, and I got full faith in him.”

No it wasn’t. Cam Thomas played great to end the year. Mikal was garbage.

Good response and nice thing to say about your teammate but unfortunately I do not believe him

Hes exactly who i thought he was, hes a career role player who got hot for a few months, happens all the time, hell, Malachi Flynn dropped 50 and he just flat out sucks. I feel bad for Mikal, he never asked to be the lead on a team, but its embarrassing for the franchise to pretend hes even a number 2 option

With all the talk about Bridges and his boys in Manhattan, I completely forgot he has a best friend in Brooklyn lol

Does he mean who the front office thought he was? Bc a lot of fans had realistic beliefs about him hence why they wanted to trade him. The front office views and markets him like he’s a budding star in this league

Of course Cam J is going to say that, his buddy Mikal is the reason he was able to rob the Nets of $95 million!
