You could tell the only time he watched the Clippers this season was while he played against them. Might have been once or twice?

  3. I think it is going come to harden and zu. Can harden take advantage of luka or kyrie guarding him if kawhi is healthy? The shooting slump is still there. Also Im considering Zu because harden is better next to center than small ball. So Will ty lue not overreact when some mediocre shooter hit couple 3s over Zu. We know what Russ brings, defense, energy, hustle plays, missing layups, couple turnovers for no reason and inconsistent shooting so it is on and off for him just like that suns game, we had full russ experience from how great he was in first half and how bad it can be in second half

Kawhi will determine the series. If he plays, we win – even if it takes 7 games. If he is absent, our goal becomes taking the series as long as possible so we can lose with dignity.

I don’t care what team you are, if you are counting on your 7th man off the bench to determine the outcome in any series then you are not a championship team. This series like all series will come down to if our stars can be better than theirs. Contrary to what the media has been portraying lately, we beat the Mavs in ‘21 because Kawhi matched and was even better than Luka and PG was better than Porzingis. The Hardaway Jrs., finney-smiths, etc. can get hot a game or two but when the series was on the line, it was determined by Luka fading and Kawhi winning. Will be the same this series. Kawhi must cancel Luka out and PG must cancel Kyrie out.

I agree with the sentiment but not the recommendation

Our starting 5 and the mavs are fairly evenly matched, but we can snag the series based on bench play. Russ and Norm and the boys can force the mavs centers out of the game in the bench minutes and the mavs have literally 0 answer for a russ type player. if he can play anywhere near how he did in the suns series we can win this series in like 5 games

  7. I’d bet Lue puts TMann on Kyrie. Russ is always an X factor. Dummy Dray might as well say the ball and hoop will be the most important part of the game.

The X-factor in my opinion is Harden. I think we all know what we’re gonna get from Russ. High intensity, fast-paced, high-risk/high-reward basketball plays off of the bench and providing that much needed spark for the team.

the team that puts the orange ball through the hoop more will determine the series

  10. Why are we posting worthless shit like this here? Who cares what he thinks

I don’t know what the answer is. It’s true Harden’s probably going to get cooked on defense in this series but you have a good thing going with Russ and Harden in their current roles. Maybe see how Game 1 goes before shaking things up.

Every time we’ve played the Mavs TLue has told the team to switch everything. This is why Luka has been able to expose Zu so much in the past. What would be different here with Kyrie just forcing the switch to a worse defender?
