(PMT) Blake Griffin told @PardonMyTake that he had a standing offer to return to the #Celtics all season.
“Yeah, I mean if I had gone anywhere, I would’ve gone back to Boston. I love those guys and I’m pulling for them and they’ve got a great shot.”

Well then just come hang out man
If he had signed a 10-day contract with us and if we win a championship, will he get a ring?
Brad had that roster spot open for him all season.
I wish he would’ve come back, but I’m happy to hear this. The team did right by him and he didn’t play because it was HIS choice, stuff like this goes a long way towards a team’s reputation
Before he opted to join the Nets, Blake had an offer from the Celtics. He said he asked someone about the team and they advised him not to go for whatever reason.
I hope that person is marked “GIVES SHITTY ADVICE” now in Blake’s phone.
Props to him for being such a professional. He didn’t think he had good enough conditioning to occupy a roster spot and refused. Someone else would have joined for an easy ring.
Who knows, maybe thanks to this Queta comes in during a playoffs game and saves the day. Every minute counts in the playoffs.
Here’s hoping we see him as a fan at a playoff game!
