I remember being upset at the signing thinking he would take time away from Grimes and quickley. I guess he did!

That’s so dope for him, but honestly seeing the list reminds me how fucking crazy Steph Curry is from behind the arc.

It took me entirely too long to understand how that math could work

I’ll be the first to admit that I thought DDV was a horrible signing. We needed a backup PF and we get another wing??? And when Randle went down, I was convinced I was right. But damn, since Feb, DDV has been stellar— a tier below All-Star. Besides shoot, he does everything well—he can start, come off the bench, be a ball handler, play pesky defense, etc. Another killer FO signing.
was With JB reaching MVP tier, iHart becoming one of the best defensive Cs in the league and the brilliant OG midseason signing, DDV gets a little bit lost.

I predict next year he cracks top 5

At some point in February or March I began to wonder if this was just what it felt like to have a consistent three point specialist on the team or if it was something more. It felt like he always gave you 5-8 threes regardless of if he took 8 or 18 shots lol. Even his less efficient games, the fact that he is literally always good for at least a couple threes makes him such an impactful player. If we didn’t have him this year, the post-Randle part of the season looks completely different.
