[Charania] The expectation is Miami’s Jimmy Butler will be out multiple weeks, sources said. Butler remarkably played the final three quarters vs. 76ers last night with what is now feared to be an MCL injury.

  1. I get why he played through it cause that’s who he is but he definitely hurt us on offense and defense. He couldn’t move in the second half and was a traffic cone on defense

Play stupid games win stupid prizes. Team shouldn’t have fucked around so much in the regular season and fallen into a play in situation.

  4. Donovan Mitchell you are a Miami Heat…target? 🥲

Was a good run. This has to be the end of this build.

Honestly the bulls need to just end the season for us Celtics first round no jimmy would be a disaster

Did Jayson Tatum make a deal with the devil?

Are we now better off losing to Chicago since we have our own ‘24 1st rounder?

I can’t envision a scenario where we win a single game against Boston (or anyone tbh) without Jimmy.

If we make it out alive Friday and somehow miraculously beat the Celtics in the first round, Jimmy will be back for the second round and there will be enough morale boost to win NBA Finals.

Not over til it’s over. It’s all hands on deck minus Jimmy on Friday and I think we can do it it.

  10. I love Jimbo, but he really depends a lot on his athleticism. I don’t doubt his ability to get through this with sheer effort and willpower, but the severity of this injury gives me anxiety. If this is a tear and not just a bad sprain, this might be the beginning of a downward trajectory for his career.

Time to see who is the next man up in June for the draft!!

  12. We are indebted to the basketball gods after last year’s miracle run. They are now here to collect on that debt

Just end the season. This team doesn’t have a fairytale run

  14. The sleepwalking and the million injuries killed this season man. The whole organization just needs a shakeup instead of repeating the same thing over and over

Chances are slim, this is most likely the nail in the coffin against Boston.

Only hope is Terry to come back and play the best basketball of his entire life.

  16. Is anyone else not worried about this? I honestly think Jimmy isn’t badly hurt and just needs some rest. If we win against the bulls, I fully expect Jimmy to be suited and booted for the Celtics.

    FML.
Either lose the game against bulls to have better lottery pick and avoid another injury in the roster or win the play-in and let Jaime and Jovic get some experience in the Playoffs. Up to you Pat and Spo.

Mega cope, Jimmy finally gets that rest he’s needed and we get the chip next year. Everyone who matters is under contract.

We are 13-9 without Jimmy this season with Jaime usually going beast mode. Give me my gallon of copium. Fuck the bulls, fuck the Cs, we ball. LGH
