I am not a pessimist but I cannot ignore reality. If it is still swelling currently with the hopes of reducing inflammation to pass some threshold it does not mean the swelling is completely eliminated. It just means that the swelling has been reduced to a level where the medical staff feels comfortable enough to allow him to play. The injury has not healed. With that being said, do we really think his knee will hold up the entire series let alone the entire playoffs? Playing 40 minutes in an NBA playoff game is no joke. Even if he plays game 1 we are just delaying the inevitable. SMH

In my personal opinion, Laurence Frank doing an unplanned press conference a couple hours after shams reported the Clippers were “cautiously optimistic, doing intense workouts” is suspicious and could very well be a smoke screen. On the other hand, L Frank had some not so optimistic things to say about Kawhi and game one. You would think L Frank would be the more reliable source but I still just can’t fully commit to believing him yet because of what Sham and Woj have been saying. See you Sunday 😂
