   I don’t see a way the hawks get a player better than Trae that isn’t Jalen Johnson maxing his potential.

   I’m really glad to hear this because I’ve felt for a few years now that he isn’t a #1 option.  He’s the best #2 option in the league.  The last PG that was the best player on a championship team was Curry, who is a complete statistical outlier.  Before Curry the last time a PG was the best player on a championship team was Isaiah Thomas on the bad boy pistons in the 80’s.  And they literally physically assaulted their opponents.  

    So yeah.  Glad to hear that from Trae.

   I know we need some changes, but ownership is the problem. We will not get another player like Trae. I’d rather suck and have Trae than suck and not have Trae. He’s at least shown the ability to reach ECF (and should have been further if it weren’t for the ref’s foot). The problem is management not maximizing this roster and being too cheap to even fill the roster.

   Hawks FO would be making a huge mistake to let Trae go, that is if he isn’t asking out.

   Realistically though, if a team comes asking for him that can compete for a chip next year, why would anyone expect Trae to stay and be patient for however many more seasons needed for the Hawks to get better?

   As much as I would hate to see it, it’s very likely that Trae is a Laker this summer.

    People seem to forget that Trae doesn’t just lead the team in scoring. He also leads in assists. In fact, he’s led the entire NBA in assists on multiple occasions.
