Normally I don’t post news from Skip but he has been quite accurate when it comes to kawhi’s news
Some stuff he said is kinda worrisome, Kawhi can’t guard Luka because it’s going be overload on his knee, apparently Kawhi knee started to bother him against magic (I have no idea why they played him against hornets)

The fact that he’s listed as questionable means the Clips want the Mavs to prepare for him even though they know he’s not playing. Hopefully he’ll be ready for Game 3 in Dallas. We should be able to win at home without him.

I always try to be optimistic for this team, but I don’t know. Saturday’s game is a matinee game, and we all know how this team does when it’s a matinee game.
Kawhi’s a superstar, and I get he’s injured, but…..come on. I’m just frustrated that he’s injured at a time when we need him the most and when it now actually counts. It’s almost like we should’ve not let him play at all until like March so we can preserve him for the playoffs. When we lost him during the semifinals a couple of years ago and we got to the WCF against Phoenix, I was hoping that we could beat them without Kawhi. Nope.
Now here we are….no Kawhi, and in the 1st round against Luka and the Mavs, who will definitely exploit us with the P&R against Zubac. Like I said, I’m hopeful that we can win on Saturday to preserve home court advantage, but without a healthy Kawhi…..I just don’t know.
I wouldn’t take this as gospel, when he tore his acl im sure the whole organization knew asap, as well as the doctor who’d be doing the surgery. Meaning there’s tons of people who could potentially leak stuff to people like skip.
I only watch NBA because of Kawhi. I dont think i can do another postseason like this
