  1. Definitely not fire Mike Brown but what is GOING ON with playing the Pelicans? They make us look so small and sloppy out there. Maaaaanā€¦ I feel bad for Fox. Dude really put his heart out there with 35 pts. We needed Keon and Murray to step up again and they simply didnā€™t.

I think our next step is adding some more talented playersā€¦

If we lose Malik idk tho Iā€™ll be heartbroken

  2. Kings need to move on from Barnes and Huerter. Trade one of those guys + picks to the Magic for Jonathan Isaac. His length wil improve the defense so much. Was honestly hoping we'd get Porzingis last summer but Isaac will function just the same šŸŸ£šŸ”¦

  3. Huge mistake giving Barnes the money they did, now they have cap troubles. Barnes and Huerter have to go, but who can they get?

  4. I think we need to take a swing at the draft instead of trying to trade away picks. I feel Zach Edey or Kyle Filipowski would be a great addition along with some Keegan Murray/ Keon Ellis defensive type development.

  5. Fox and Sabonis are both good players, but they're not GREAT players!!!!! Kings are kings, and they are what they are!! That's why Fox or Sabonis will never be All-Stars!!

  6. I love the kings and Malik monk, but Iā€™d honestly be disappointed to see him stay in Sacramento as a sixth man he deserves a starting spot somewhere and he deserves a bag for sure

  7. Mike Brown is the one who said he believed they can contend for the title this year.. Sounds like he's the one who wanted to run it back.

I don't think Monte wanted to because Monte said it's a "long process" to become contenders – he wasn't delusional. Also, talks between HB and Monte went silent for a couple weeks in the offseason so we know Monte was looking to upgrade.

By all evidence Mike Brown seems to love this roster and overvalue the #1 offense last season, not wanting to make any changes and instead rely on internal growth

  8. It would be interesting to go back and see what people were saying about the Mavs last year when they missed the playoffs.

  9. As a Kings fan since the 80s, fans saying, "Fire Mike Brown" holds no water unless they're going to say WHO can realistically replace them.

Anyone can get upset and say fire XYZ. Who the fuck is going to replace him? Thats the part of the answer that requires intelligence.

I watched the Kings beat the Nuggets 3-1 this year. I hopped on the Denver Nuggets sub to get a different perspective than that of Kings fans. Several Nugget fans commented, "Fire Malone." I disagree with that perspective. Malone is top notch and so is Denver. It goes to show that many fans (NBA fans) speak on emotions and not logic.

That's not directed at Denver fans. I'm using Denver as an example because they're so good.

And I 100% agree… Malik Monk is a HUGE fan favorite and will get a standing ovation if he leaves but returns.

I personally believe Monk is a huge part of this team.
