I got Denver repeating over Boston, Nuggets vs Mavs in the WCF and Celtics vs Knicks in the East. And then for second round matchups I’m thinking Denver vs Minnesota, Dallas vs OKC, and then Boston vs Orlando and NY vs Indiana.
Other than Boston and Denver though, I’m not super confident in most of these selections.

– Thunder over Pelicans – Clippers over Mavs – T’Wolves over Suns – Nuggets over Lakers – Celtics over Heat – Cavs over Magic – Bucks over Pacers – Knicks over Sixers
**Conf. Semi Finals**
– Thunder over Clippers – Nuggets over T’Wolves – Celtics over Cavs – Knicks over Bucks
For some reason, I feel like the Mavericks are going to be losing finalists in the most intense way. I predict them facing 3 game 7s on their run and losing their last one. If Jokic wins a second NBA title, he is going to be leap-frogging Curry, Moses Malone and Kevin Durant in the Top 15 discussions, and Shaq’s position isn’t safe. Under Joker, they’ve only been upset in the playoffs once: to the Portland Trailblazers in 2018-19. If they’re going to bow out, you can best believe it’s going to be to a higher seed.
On the Celtics: I just don’t trust them to get out of the East. They could conceivably prove me wrong, but the last 3 years haven’t exactly inspired confidence. If they sweep the Heat, the trophy will be practically theirs. The first round is the tell-all for this team.
