Shooting poorly is perfectly fine if you find other ways to positively impact the game. Just look at Murray. Dlo on the other hand negatively impacts every other aspect of the game all while bricking every single shot. He needs to have the shortest leash in G2.

We gotta realize that this team has to be performing on all cylinders to have chance at beating Denver. For DLo that means he needs to hit 3-4 threes per game minimum on 40% shooting. Is that unfair? Maybe, but its the Nuggets.

I think Ham knows that DLO needs his confidence coddled in order for him to be effective, and we need him to be effective if we are going to win this series. He’s also right, DLO absolutely helped us get to this point. However, it’s something that needs to be balanced. Can’t play him crazy minutes if he keeps stinking it up, but also it’s hard to make up for the scoring and play making he can provide when he’s cooking.

Eventually Dinwiddie came in but only for a couple minutes – D’Lo went back out there and bricked a few more shots. D’Lo will need to score for the Lakers to win but damn he needed to be benched in the 3rd for a bit.
Tough game because the blueprint was there and working in the first half. Denver did clamp down on defense in the 2nd half but the whole team let that happen by standing around and just chucking on offense. Tough to watch.
