San Antonio was much worse with the Saints. I remember watching a San Antonio news broadcast during the 2005 season, it was after the Saints lost to the Panthers at Tiger Stadium and the Saints record sat at 3-11 and they were long out of playoff contention, because of this (and the effects of Katrina) the attendance at Tiger Stadium was pretty bad (32,551 according to PFR, Tiger Stadium held 91,000 at the time) and the sportscaster was attempting to use the low attendance as a reason the team should stay in San Antonio. The attendance is low because the team stinks and people are focused on recovering from the storm.
