Terrible call they would have played Indiana no Philly or Miami. Throwing games is never good. Now instead of avoiding the Celts until conf finals now will have to play them 2nd round. Loser organization.
Of course they lost on purpose. Why would you blow the two seed you would have Homecourt until you met Boston and then you would have it to the finals if Boston got upset. ABSOLUTE RIGHT DECUSION LOOKED LIKE KNICKS WERE ABOUT TO LOSE… they even went to ot and won by like a point if we won with how our luck is the knicks woulda lost and then we get philly who was easily 2nd best team in east b4 embid got hurt or miami who u saw what they can do as an #8 seed last year so ya id rather be #3 and play pacers and avoid boston but boston could lose to philly or miami and give me orlando all day than risk seeing philly all day people are crazy knicks looked like they were about to lose on purpose to avoid philly miami
Dont like it at all…not only do you miss on the 3 seed, you go into the playoffs losing at home, and because you decide to rest people Porter gets hurt…so you'll be without him all playoffs now…I think it was stupid, you always try and better yourself.
I'm confused by this take because I thought at best with a win we would move to 3 seed even with NYK loss (b/c NYK have the tiebreaker over us)? Maybe I am missing something? If anything I think they did it to avoid Knicks in second round.
