FGs) and Ivica Zubac (20 points, 15 rebounds) added a combined 42 points in the victory, while Luka Doncic (33 points, 13 rebounds, six assists) and Kyrie Irving (31 points, seven rebounds, four assists) combined for 64 points for the Mavericks in the losing effort. Everyone jumping to conclusions when its only one game. Unfortunately or fortunately (depending on who you want to win), Lively isn't playing due to serious family matters and is still getting some reps since his injury. We always compare Luka to Jokic, vice versa, last time I checked, Jokic was just average at best without Murray. My point is, Lively might not be a rookie of the year candidate yet or at Jamaal's level, however he's more important to this Mavericks team than you would think.
