Everyone is a doubter until you actually do it

Neither of these people watch basketball

Shaq is very critical because he wants to see them do well. He’s a bit more pessimistic cause of this teams habits we’ve seen for years now but I’ve felt more confident in this squad than years past

I watched it…. I agree with Chuck. Only the Celtics can beat themselves by punting the ball in the stands at crunch time or Taking (and missing) a shit-ton of 3’s against a good team. Also… I honestly dont care who takes the last shot as long as it’s a good one.

Shaq with the insightful, “if they miss shots they won’t win”… no shit lol

why are we linking to articles that are 99% ads with tiny font that just transcribes a conversation of a TV episode?

can we not give clicks to these shitty “journalist” sites?

Same Shaq that thinks Bol Bol is better than Wemby

Shaq is wildly ignorant about the league nowadays. In 2022, he laughed at the other panelists and called D Wade a fool for believing the Celtics had any shot in the East. Claimed we’d get swept by the Nets easily. Then, tried to claim he’d always been down with the Celtics when they won the ECF.

He gets paid to make shit up and start conversation. He isn’t paid to be insightful or correct.

Chuck barely watches the Celtics if he thinks Jrue is functioning as the primary ball handler in our offense.

He’s right that Smart leaving has had a positive effect on that side of the ball, but the replacement has been a combo of Tatum and White, and the gains from last year are explained by better ball movement, the dynamic presence of Porzingis, and higher 3PT% across the board to where you can’t sag off anyone.

I actually think the more important thing is the team stays in the game mentally. As a team, that have the skills, coaching and physical ability to beat everyone. But at times they beat themselves mentally.

It’s not a single player that makes a difference, not the team trusting in what they’ve trained and not getting off their game plan

Shaq has been oddly negative towards the Celtics this season. I think it might be a bit to differentiate himself from other folks but it’s just weird to see and listen to.

I like them both but I don’t put too much stock into what they say. They’re more entertaining than insightful.
