If you were Spo, what changes to the lineup would you make for Wednesday’s game? With Duncan saying he doesn’t feel 100%, we don’t have much left to work with

I saw an idea of letting Herro return to his more regular SG role so he can hit more 3s, and have someone else be PG. Perhaps Herro is having trouble as PG against a much taller and top rated Celtic team.

God himself in the starting 5 couldn’t win this series. We’re an 8 seed with our best player and our best player is injured. The ghost of MJ (Jimmy Butler) isn’t saving us. Just enjoy giving the young guys some run.

Start Delon Wright and let Herro play his natural position. Increase Kevin Love’s minutes to counter their 2 big lineups. As much as I’ve loved Jovic this season, I think this is a series where I’d play Highsmith more and let him hound Tatum.

Highsmith needs to start over Jovic. His defense is much better and offensively we aren’t giving up much with that switch (yes Jovic is better offensively in a vacuum but as a 5th option I want the better D).

Delon in the starting lineup while Rozier is out. Maybe some Patty Mills minutes (when Pritchard is in there so that he doesn’t get completely exposed defensively) and just hope Patty can get hot and knock down a few 3s. Pray.

Kevin Love needs more minutes and Highsmith needs to start

Start Delon for Caleb only change I’d make. If we can’t turn em over we have no shot and Delon best on roster at getting steals.

I would give the younger guys as many minutes & playoff experience possible.

Then we will have trade bait for another over-the-hill “missing piece”.

Find the dragon balls to wish back Jimmy and Terry

Wright, Herro, Jovic, Highsmith, Bam. Now is not the time for Herro to get reps ball handling, it’s unfortunate that he was injured for a big portion of the season.

Add Patty Mills and Thomas Bryant into the rotation, very limited minutes for both. Patty Mills to ball handle, and Thomas Bryant for some end of quarter hard fouls. I want some reviews for flagrants from Bryant.

Other than that it’s spray and pray from 3. The 3s are going to be tougher looks as well because no one is strong enough or has the consistent handles to attack the basket like Jimmy. The team defense is as good as it’s going to be, just physically limited especially without Jimmy.

Start Jaime. Herro. Jovic. Bam. Love.

Cycle in Bryant for bam/love to have more height. Let bam float on D. Love/bryant takes pingus.

Cycle in highsmith for Jovic. Caleb for Herro. Delon for Jaime.

    PG- Mills
    SG- Herro
    SF- Jamie
    PF- Bam
    C- Bryant

    PG- Jovic
    SG- Duncan??
    SF- Wright
    PF- Martin
    C- Love

Start Duncan both halves and get what you can out of him. The old Kevin Love/Meyers Leonard shift.

  14. going to be honest there’s not much spo can do, the celtics roster is damn near perfect with very few flaws to exploit.

  15. TheSavageBeast83

Go big. Put Bryant out there to beat themdown

Edit: also get mills out there. We need a PG

Hope that Jaime speed runs his ascension into Pascal Siakam, Kevin Love turns back the clock to the Minnesota days, and Duncan gets a good chiropractor…..
